‍Tim Coetzee, PhD delivered an update on some of the most exciting news to come out of the 2021 ECTRIMS conference, including   information on BTK Inhibitors and the Phase 2 Brainstorm Trial which shows the promise of stem cells.  He ended his presentation by sharing his key takeaways from Ectrims:

• Several new treatments show promise in clinical trials
• We still have more work to do to achieve myelin repair, but there are promising results
• Stem cells could protect nerve cells from damage
• Exercise can make a difference for symptoms and may have long term benefits  
• We are developing a clearer picture of what is behind progression
• We are making progress in developing treatments for progressive MS
