Currently, MS Hope for a Cure has prioritized funding:

• Progressive MS research via the International Progressive MS Alliance
  
• The salaries of social workers who provide services to those most in need

International Progressive MS Alliance

The International Progressive MS Alliance is an unprecedented global collaboration of MS organizations, researchers, health professionals, the pharmaceutical industry, companies, foundations, donors and people affected by progressive MS - working together to accelerate the development of life-changing treatments for people with progressive MS.

Social Workers

‍Social workers play an important role in the lives of people living with MS.  They not only listen to their struggles but connect them to and help them access the resources they need to live the most productive life possible.  Social workers are critical everywhere but the are often a lifeline for those living in underserved communities who are under-insured or not insured at all.  MS Hope currently pays 100% of the salaries of the social workers who work at the below MS Comprehensive Care Centers that treat patients from underserved communities.

• The Multiple Sclerosis Center at BronxCare Health System
• The Linda Morgante MS Care Center at Maimonides Medical Center
• NYU Langone Brooklyn MS Center
  
• The MS Center at White Plains Hospital

In the past, MS Hope also provided salary support for social workers and nurses at:

• Corinne Goldsmith Dickinson Center for Multiple Sclerosis at Mount Sinai
• Judith Jaffe Multiple Sclerosis Clinical Care & Research Center/Weill Cornell Medicine/New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center
• NYU Langone Medical Center Multiple Sclerosis Comprehensive Care Center
