Emily Reilly currently lives in Alexandria working for the National MS Society as a healthcare provider engagement manager. She is a proud air force spouse, dog mom, and passionate about fitness. At the young age of 17, her life was changed forever when she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. This diagnosis was just the beginning of an incredible story and she had no idea how this diagnosis would lead to impacting so many people. Emily refused to let her diagnosis stop her from pursuing her dreams and goals, so she went on to play college soccer and was an all-American goalkeeper.
After getting married, her desire to help make fitness accessible for all levels of ability propelled her into a career in the fitness industry. She became a group fitness instructor and later became a certified personal trainer to create and teach modified fitness classes. She has been teaching for over 6 years and has found that being active is not only beneficial physically, but mentally and emotionally as well!
Emily hopes that through her classes, she can be a source of encouragement and joy and empower people on their wellness journey- whatever that looks like!
Encouragement from Emily:
Give yourself grace, celebrate your little victories, and know that “No matter what your limitation, you can keep moving”.
